A leading University appointed JDP to support with capacity and capability challenges within the In-house Procurement Team. Evolving subsequently into the delivery of a revised procurement operating model, to include revised Policy, Process and a suite of tools and templates to deliver consistent procurement excellence, as a leading Procurement function within the sector.


  • Undertook initial due diligence and current state review of technology, people and processes
  • Created roadmap of optimal future state with recommendations around:
  • improved client engagement, including intranet and internet updates
  • auditability recommendations for file storage and standardised documentation
  • improved and consistent use of procurement portals
  • departmental restructure with improved ownership and accountability
  • established robust supporting processes, procedures and tools to enable optimal delivery
  • Developed a team communication plan, file storage guidelines and WIP reporting to encourage knowledge sharing and ensure consistent and improved delivery
    Programme and project delivery across IT, soft and hard FM and estates spend categories


Enabled delivery of short-term contract renewals, tenders and mobilisation
Delivery of robust and pragmatic procurement policy and processes, with supporting tools and templates to enable standardised delivery of procurement excellence
